Brut Rosé

Brut Rosé

PRODUCT of ENGLAND

Following a challenging start with spring frosts, the season evolved into one of unparalleled growth, underpinned by ideal weather conditions. The warm weather from late spring, a brief interlude of rain in August, and a September heatwave led to the earliest harvest in our history, producing fruit that was both clean and rich in flavour, with exceptional ripeness.

Our meticulous winemaking process began with the hand-harvesting of grapes at dawn, followed by hand sorting and whole-bunch pressing. Only the finest free-run juice was fermented in stainless steel to preserve its delicate taste and uniqueness. Through full malolactic fermentation, we softened the natural acidity of the 2021 harvest, adding a creamy texture and depth to the wine. After undergoing a second fermentation in the bottle and maturing for about 30 months, the wine was finally disgorged, corked, and labelled. This vintage stands out with its rose gold colour, vibrant red berry and Turkish Delight aromas, and a refreshing palate of strawberry, nougat, and grapefruit, finished with a fine, soft mousse that delights the senses.
